The global startup ecosystem index from StartupBlink is updated annually since 2017 and ranks
the startup ecosystems of around 1000 cities in 100 countries.
The Global Startup Ecosystem Index (GSEI) is created using hundreds of
thousands of data points processed by an algorithm that takes into account several dozen sets of parameters. The Index is used annually by hundreds of thousands of start-ups or players in the start-up ecosystem, companies and financial institutions
supporting critical decisions on policy making, investment strategy and location.
